Panini Keypad allows you to type in any Indian language. Current languages supported on web are Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati, Punjabi. You can also drag the Panini Keypad over the page for convenience and can copy paste this text to your Email, Blog, Facebook, Twitter etc. To type seamlessly on web please note the following instructions.

  • PaniniKeypad will quickly load and you will see Hindi characters on screen.
  • You can choose language from drop down menu.
  • Click the character you want to type.
  • If the character you want is not on the list, click on the green arrow outside for the Next List.
  • Example : To write अंतर्राष्ट्रीय
  • अ+ं+त+र+्+र+ा+ष+्+ट+्+र+ी+य
  • As above, Halant ? is used to join characters (yuktakshars, consonant clusters). Halant/Virama is always predicted in red.
  • Use the Bottom centre key for Space.
  • Press Space key (twice) for Period (Purna Viram).
  • True to its ergonomic nature, the Panini Keypad tries to predict characters as you type and places them on the limited keypad for you.
  • Start looking from the top left corner for the predictions for the best results.
